Cell
Cell is the structural and functional unit of all living organisms, which replicate independently capable of performing life functioning, and building blocks of the multicellular organisms , hence it is also called as fundamental unit of life
The term cell was first observed and identified by the Robert Hook in 1665
Cells consist of cytoplasm enclosed within a membrane, which contain many biomolecules such as Protein and Nucleic acid.
Organisms can be classified as unicellular (like Amoeba) or multicellular (like plants and animals)
Cells are of two types -
is -
Pro - primitive
karyon - Nucleus

Cells are of two types -
1- Prokaryotic cell
2- Eukaryotic cell
1-Prokaryotic cell -
A prokaryotic cell lacks membrane - bound nucleus, Mitochondria or any other membrane - bound Organelles
The word prokaryotic derived from the two greak word thatis -
Pro - primitive
karyon - Nucleus
Prokaryotic cell structure -

Cell wall -
Outer covering of most Cells that protects the bacterial cell and give it shape
Cell membrane -
Surrounds the cell's cytoplasm and regulate the flow of substances in and out of the cell.
Cytoplasm -
A gell like substance composed of mainly water that also contains enzymes, salts, cell components, and various organic molecules.
Ribosome -
In the prokaryotic cell, 70 s ribosomes are present in the cytoplasm.
Nucleoid -
Area of the cytoplasm that contains the prokaryotes single DNA molecule.
Flagellum -
Long, whip like protrusion that aids cellular locomotion used by both gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
